• Full Driving Licence
• HSEQ Knowledge with good analytical thinking and investigative skills
• Intermediate English level minimum and willing to improve English skills
• Demonstrated good communications, presentation and computer skills
• Computer literacy for email and presentations
• Good interpersonal skills, and problem-solving abilities
JOB SUMMARY
Job Based at Sangachal Terminal the purpose of this role is to provide relevant support to operations area Safety team leader to conduct relevant inspections and self-verification to ensure conformance against company procedural requirements
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Driving Safety Inspector assigned to operational areas to conduct bi-annual vehicle inspections against the driving safety requirements
• Conduct vehicle inspections of contractor vehicles on a random basis to ensure conformance against the driving safety requirements
• Review in vehicles monitoring system / camera records to identify driver’s behavior
• Be involved in the driving safety assurance reviews conducted by the Safety Advisor
• Conduct Driving Safety Self verification as per the operational area self-verification plan
• Take part in incident investigation to support the team to identify causes of incidents and recommend actions to prevent recurrence
• Record all non-conformances, investigation reports and self-verification reports in the IRIS system and ensure relevant actions are taken
• Conduct road risk assessment for the operational areas, ensure relevant risks and control measures are recorded and communicated
• Review the training records of drivers and ensure all relevant personnel are trained as per the training requirements
• Prepare presentations on driving safety and other relevant safety topics as required and deliver to affected personnel
• Prepare monthly progress reports on Driving Safety scope and present to safety leadership team at operational areas
• Some travel will be required as part of this post
