The Baku International Education Complex is looking for candidates for the position of “Head of IB”:

Baku International Education Complex is a new school that offers the latest educational methods of the 21st century, meeting the warm family environment and modern requirements.

Responsibilities:

● Serves as the educational leader of the IB section of School.
● Manages the development and implementation of policies, programs, curricular/extracurricular activities and daily school operations.
● Contributes to the development and implementation of the school’s annual budget
● Provides high expectations for all members of the school, including staff and students to fulfill their responsibilities.
● Supports the continuous development of school in accordance with its mission.
● Creates a positive, interactive and transparent relationship with the school community.
● Takes continuous initiative to increase professional development opportunities for all staff.

Requirements:

● Having an experience in IB PYP curriculum or a similar position
● Experience in developing and maintaining good relations with students, parents, and staff
● Knowledge of modern teaching methodologies, curriculum and performance assessments.
● The ability to guide the school staff with clear objectives, collaborating within a common leadership model, identify future expectations and to empower employees;
