Temporary Accountant

Duration: 6 Months

Education/Experience and Qualification:

 Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
 1-2 years of experience in a related field
 Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
 Knowledge of local laws regarding finances and taxation
 Excellent organizing abilities
 Great attention to detail
 Knowledge of MS Office and 1C
 Fluency in Azerbaijani, English and Russian languages

Duties & Responsibilities:

 Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment;
 Assist in maintaining department financial records, maintain and reconcile account ledgers
 Assist with the preparation of financial reports and analyses
 Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
 Clarify any questionable invoice items, prices, or receiving signatures; obtain proper information and/or data regarding invoice payments
 Compile and sort documents, such as invoices and checks, substantiating business transactions
 Maintain copies of vouchers, invoices, or correspondence necessary for files
 Compute, prepare, and mail monthly statements to customers when required
 Collecting, checking and inserting employee’s bank details to Payroll system;
 Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
 Assist in payroll calculation.
 Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
 Secures financial information by completing database backups; keeping information confidential
 Maintains accounting controls by following policies and procedures; complying with local financial legal requirements
