Temporary Accountant
Duration: 6 Months
Education/Experience and Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
1-2 years of experience in a related field
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Knowledge of local laws regarding finances and taxation
Excellent organizing abilities
Great attention to detail
Knowledge of MS Office and 1C
Fluency in Azerbaijani, English and Russian languages
Duties & Responsibilities:
Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment;
Assist in maintaining department financial records, maintain and reconcile account ledgers
Assist with the preparation of financial reports and analyses
Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
Clarify any questionable invoice items, prices, or receiving signatures; obtain proper information and/or data regarding invoice payments
Compile and sort documents, such as invoices and checks, substantiating business transactions
Maintain copies of vouchers, invoices, or correspondence necessary for files
Compute, prepare, and mail monthly statements to customers when required
Collecting, checking and inserting employee’s bank details to Payroll system;
Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
Assist in payroll calculation.
Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
Secures financial information by completing database backups; keeping information confidential
Maintains accounting controls by following policies and procedures; complying with local financial legal requirements
