Leading IFRS reporting Specialist

OJSC VTB Bank (Azerbaijan) is seeking an individual with professional attitude for the position of IFRS Senior Specialist / Specialist, who will be responsible for:

- Assisting in preparation of IFRS Group financial statements to HQ;
- Assisting in preparation of annual IFRS financial statements and related disclosure;
- Supporting the reporting team in other reporting matters.

Requirements:

 University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics;
 3+ years of experience in audit (preferably in Big4 with exposure to bank industry) or 3+ years of experience in reporting department in financial sector;
 Understanding and knowledge of IFRS is essential;
 ACCA/CIMA/CFA part-qualified/students preferred;
 Fluent in Russian, Azerbaijan and English;
 Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages;
 Good communication skills, both written and verbal;
 Understanding and knowledge of IFRS is essential.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

 Preparation of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual group financial statements in accordance with IFRS to HQ;
 Regular evaluation of IFRS reporting processes in the bank to assure timely and high quality reporting of the bank;
 Assist the Reporting Team in closing all audit matters on time;
 Provide support in preparation of IFRS and management reports in accordance with internal bank formats.
