JOB TITLE: Incoming Tour Manager
EMPLOYER: Improtex Travel, Tours & Conferences
DUTY STATION: Azerbaijan, Baku
Requirements:
- Degree in Tourism and Travel Services Management
- Min 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Written and verbal proficiency in English, Azerbaijani, Russian (additional languages strongly desired)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in an environment of pressing deadlines and dynamic conditions
- Excellent computer literacy (knowledge of travel relevant software strongly desired)
Main responsibilities:
- Generate Sales from all markets
- Planning, developing and delivering incoming group & MICE projects
- Review, research and optimize the existing products as well as create new products
- Review costs of sales and net prices to ensure rate competitiveness in the market
- Negotiating best prices and deals with suppliers
- Managing MICE projects during the preparation phase and on-site period
- Reporting to the Director regarding MICE project and event objectives, budgets, resource planning
- Ensuring the profitability of the events and projects, managing and verifying all income and expenditure
- Weekly report on the project and sales activities
