Job Role Responsibilities: 

 Analyzing sales volumes and understanding trends in demand and sourcing opportunities
 Collating demand to provide monthly demand projections that enable effective purchasing and inventory management decisions
 Purchasing from new and existing suppliers by placing orders and negotiating supply contracts; including packing services
 Managing relationships with suppliers to improve supplier performance against the company’s internal criteria, identify cost and product development opportunities
 Deliver a customer facing offer balancing range, price and promotion
 Execute the sourcing and selection strategy for a given range of products
 Negotiate optimum product cost with suppliers
 Place local and international purchase orders
 Carry out complete contract cycle, including issuance of tenders, making bidders list, inviting tenders, opening tenders, commercial evaluation, drafting contract and contract issuance
 Confirm acceptability of the suppliers’ invoices.
 Ensure timely delivery of all orders
 Handle urgent customer requests immediately
 Negotiate major supply contracts with bidders to ensure most economic conditions, consistent with high quality and reliable delivery are obtained
 Analyses bids commercially and approve them.
 Make purchase decisions based on price, delivery, and suitability.
 Prepare bid tabulations and obtain manager’s approvals

Position Qualification Knowledge

 2 years’ experience of working in the food / catering of FMCG industry
 Knowledge of fruit & vegetables buying, ideally within the trade market environment
 Experience of decision-making responsibility for buying in a relevant category
 Bachelor degree or equivalent.
 Fluency in Azeri and English.
 A highly-motivated individual with entrepreneurial approach.
 Possess an extremely friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing personality, with ability to openly communicate and work with all types of individuals and personalities.
