Web Communications Officer

NarimanFilm is looking for a candidate to be assigned to an international oil and gas company to provide professional web communications services.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop, maintain and update company’s corporate external website in two languages (English and Azerbaijani). These include creating and publishing new content, editing and updating the existing content in a timely manner, developing new ways to ensure effectiveness of web communications.
• Develop, maintain and update company’s intranet website in English. These include creating and publishing new content, editing and updating the existing content in a timely manner, developing new ways to ensure high employee engagement.
• Support the development and improvement of company’s online communications strategy and plan.
• Ensure web accessibility, usability and conformance with the best practices and web development standards, develop new tools and ways to enhance discoverability of both websites.
• Use web analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of web communications quantitatively and qualitatively, and produce respective reports on key activities.
• Provide support in administering and managing company’s other existing online systems and websites, including updating their content.
• Provide any other ad-hoc communications support.

Required skills:

• Excellent English and Azerbaijani writing skills, including content development - news, story, case studies and feature article writing in both languages
• Good knowledge of web technologies, including web design and development trends and fundamentals
• Good knowledge of photo and video content management, understanding of photography and video messaging
