Instrumentation Supervisor

In connection with the proceedings before the commencement of electrical work.

• To review and action all instrumentation related site queries.
• To monitor and report on progress of instrumentation installation and hook-up.
• To carry out instrument inspection and punch out.
• Supervises, manages and supports subcontractor to proceed with construction effectively in accordance with project specification under safe condition.
• Supervises and ensures safe condition at construction site in cooperation with safety department.
• Supervises and ensure construction quality in accordance with project specification and ITP (Inspection and Test Plan).
• Manage the Planning for the Instrumentation works
• Ensures necessary construction drawings and materials in advance of construction implementation.
• Manages construction progress by checking daily, weekly and monthly work done quantities.
• Prepares daily, weekly and monthly construction report.
• Prepares construction M/S (Method Statement) based on specification and requirements.
• Records B/P (Best Practice) and L/L (Lessons Learned).
• Coordinates with other disciplines or departments to resolve interface issues.

Troubleshooting -- Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it; Critical Thinking -- Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems; Able to read English -- Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents; Active Learning -- Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making; Mathematics -- Using mathematics to solve problems.; Installation -- Installing equipment, machines, wiring, or programs to meet specifications.; Management of Material Resources -- Obtaining and seeing to the appropriate use of equipment, facilities, and materials needed to do certain work.; Management of Personnel Resources -- Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job.
