About your Job:
As a Reservation & Ticketing Agent, you will provide a full service-oriented professional reservations and ticketing service to all customers and travel businesses either through telephone calls or in-person meetings in order to achieve optimal customer satisfaction and achieve annual budget revenue targets.
Accountabilities:
Arranges reservations and routing using timetable, airlines manuals, reference guides, and tariff book.
Record and process reservations made by phone/ fax/ e-mail
Issue tickets and quoting correct fare to passengers
Show dedication and commitment to handle telephone calls and passengers whilst at all times carefully following al QR procedures and regulations in order to achieve the highest possible quality of reservations and ticketing service.
Advise of changes in flight plan or to cancel or confirm reservation
Handle customer requirements/request professionally ensuring minimum complaints.
Perform a proper flight firming check to maximize flight utilization and reduce No shows
Assist mishandled passenger such as NOREC/DNB to reduce passengers complaints
Support staff and customers to resolve difficult issues/problems pertaining to reservations and ticketing on daily basis.
And any other task that be assigned from time to time.
*This is a temporary role for one year*
About you:
You will need a Trade/ vocational or university degree qualification combined with a minimum of three years of job-related experience. 2 or more years’ experience of customer service in an airline/ travel industry/ hospitality. You will need a detailed knowledge of a Computerized Reservation System, such as Amadeus and very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
A sound understanding of world geography is required along with fluency in English.
Certificate of Ticketing and Reservations is also essential
You will have to be customer oriented and have good communication skills, a positive 'can-do' attitude and an ability to work independently as well as in the team
