Job Title: Head of Education and Public Programs

Location: Yarat Center

Reports to: Artistic and Strategic Director

Key Accountabilities 

To plan, manage and execute the education program.
To develop a general concept for the education program in collaboration with the general director and the artistic manager.

In detail:

• To develop the public programmes for the changing exhibitions
 –  develop, coordinate and organize children workshops, Literature Nights, Saturday Talks, Public Talks and Pac Meets Region and other upcoming events.                                                                                      
• To develop and organise tours for children, youth, grownups and tours for special guests
• To write museum pedagogical texts
• To conceive and prepare all educational material related to the exhibitions
• Acquisition training and coordination and developing the volunteer works - Managing, training and coordinating the guides
• Communication and cooperation with other institutions
- Building up context and collaboration with schools, pedagogic institutions and universities and other partners
- Developing and executing trainings program for teachers and pedagogs
• Attracting and coordination of a new audience
• To develop communication with regional partners
- To develop and organise events related to the exhibitions with partners
• Manage Center Library team and Library activities
• Manage and coach Gallery Guides

Knowledge, experience and qualifications required

• Minimum of 3 years in management of educational and public projects
• Meticulous attention to details and high level of self-organization
• Sensation for arts ability
• Cultural and academic education
• Proficiency in Russian and English or Azerbaijan and English
• Patience and ability to work long hours when necessary.
• Good planning, managing, creating skills
• Experience in budget management and budget tracking
