Specification, Quality Insurance Specialist
Main Tasks
Specification, Quality Insurance Specialist has following main tasks:
- To create and manage brand specification
- To keep records/archive of technical drawing and data
- To manage controls with external laboratory
Main obligations and authorities
1) To create and manage brand specification
- To create brand specifications from blender and clients requirements
- To implement in specification any changes decided by Management
- To keep in special files all version of specification for record and future reference
- To keep under control the implementation of specification during manufacturing process
2) To keep records/archives of technical drawings and data
- To receive from suppliers the standard sheet, data sheets for each new material and verify that data sheets of product are compatible with requested production
- To receive from printing houses artworks and chromalins. Verify their accuracy. Archive them carefully.
- To keep record and achieves all engineering drawings related to supplies. Update when necessary.
- Participate to technical proofs in Printing house premises.
3) To manage controls with external laboratory
- To send samples of finished product to external laboratory for control of physical, geometrical parameters, nicotine and tar.
- To dialog with external laboratory for theoretical calculation of physical parameters for cigarettes (such as filters pressure drop, paper ventilation)
- To develop new brands non tobacco material according to client for export. To create, when necessary, draft artwork for materials.
4) To secure all electronic files concerning specification, engineering drawings, artwork and data sheet.
The “Specification and Quality Insurance Specialist” must know:
- Printing process and its constraints
- Material specification and its influence on quality of finished product
- Design softwares such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Reader
- Production machines in use in ET.Baku
- Windows: Excel+ Word
The “Specification and Quality Insurance Specialist” reports to General Manager.

o To create and manage the specification of ETB brands
o To manage technical drawings, artworks and data related to ETB brands
Profile
o Female
o Age > 26 years
o Education: University level, preferably designer, architect
o Previous experience in foreign company
o Strong character
o Accurate
Skills required
o English language: read, write, speak fluently
o MS office soft: Excel+ Word fluently
o Adobe Illustrator
