Role synopsis
Company Offshore Representative (COR) is critical to the successful project completion and is solely accountable for operations performed from the vessel. The COR is the Safety Champion as safe reliable operation are the priorities. The COR should encourage and promote a work environment that enables people to identify risk and speak up with suggestions to eliminate or mitigate risk. The COR also encourages suggestions from team members to improve work scope execution by conducting work with in planned schedule. Constant communication between the COR and Vessel and Activity Person(s) In-Charge is necessary to ensure a seamless operation. The COR ensures that all ROV support vessel crew adhere to all Company safety policies and plans and will monitor the daily vessel SIMOPS activities. The COR executes the plans and procedures provided by the Vessel and Activity Person(s) In-Charge
Key accountabilities
• Experience and Familiarity with offshore ROV operations and the requirements of IMCA R 004.
• Detailed knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation appropriate to the location of the operation.
• Familiarity with the Emergency Response Procedures that apply to the Company managed and operated worksites where the diving is taking place.
• Familiarity with the contractual obligations and liabilities attached to the Company managed and operated worksite and a working knowledge of contractual processes.
• Understanding of the field layouts, subsea architecture and supporting infrastructures and remain aware of the various interfaces in place.
• Familiarity with the risk management process and risk assessment techniques used during the Company projects.
• Familiarity with the Company project safety management system bridging documentation.
• Possess a detailed knowledge of contractors’ work scope procedures.
Essential Education
• 4 year degree in applicable Upstream Engineering or Science field, or applicable offshore ROV/Diving related experience.
• Completion of Technical Training for ROV maintenance, pilot, and / or management
Essential experience and job requirements
• 6 years offshore working experience and 2 in a leadership position.
• Fluent in spoken and written & academic English and Azerbaijani
• Azerbaijani citizenship is required

Desirable criteria & qualifications
• Possess knowledge of IMCA D 014 and other relevant current industry guidance and good practice associated with both surface supplied and closed bell diving operations.
• Detailed knowledge of marine conventions and good working practice in respect of vessel operations, vessel management and completed a recognised DP familiarisation / induction course.
• Air and / or Saturation Diving knowledge,
• Working as an Air and / or Saturation diver / diver representative
• Computer Literacy
