Sales Account Manager

Job Purpose:

 Sales Account Manager (SAM) is responsible for enabling Microsoft’s field sales and services organization to achieve its goal of winning technology deployments, driving customer satisfaction and growing revenue. SAM builds and maintains key relationships, develops and manages opportunities, monitors deployment projects, and engages resources across a high-energy and talented virtual team. SAM is defining a CXO relationship strategy within the accounts, including engaging with Microsoft’s senior leadership team for executive sponsorships, coordinating executive business reviews, and maintaining customer satisfaction metrics. He/she sets and executes a multi-year strategy to expand the relationship, beats the competition and increases Microsoft technology usage within the customers across Azerbaijan

Responsibilities:

 Develop and execute strategic sales plan for assigned Public Sector accounts in Azerbaijan
 Establish and develop executive level relationships across IT and major lines of business in assigned accounts in Azerbaijan
 Lead a virtual team of Microsoft sales, services and technical professionals assigned to accounts across Azerbaijan
 Communicate vision and strategy and orchestrate activities of the virtual team to fulfill goals and objectives of the account’s plans.
 Manage sales opportunities using Microsoft Selling Process and methodologies.
 Manage business to achieve short-term revenue targets and long term strategic goals.
 Build and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction in all accounts across Azerbaijan
 Focus on selling the Microsoft Enterprise Platform and solutions that address business requirements.
 Develop business relationships and go-to-market strategies with Microsoft ISV’s and SI’s selling vertical solutions into account base.
 Integrate the sales cycle into the decision cycle and ensure virtual team and partner follow-up and engagement.
 Ensure high leverage and usage of Microsoft and Partner services in ongoing account management and specific sales opportunities.

Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

 University Degree, preferably in Business or Computer Technology.
 5+ years of the relevant software or hardware selling experience.
 Fluent English (spoken and written), Russian (spoken and written) and Azeri are required
 Proven understanding and experience within the local market.
 Proven selling experience at executive level.
 Good knowledge of the Microsoft products.
 Ability to devise, manage and execute a strategic, long-term enterprise account plan.
 Ability to successfully lead a virtual sales account team.
 Excellent communication and presentation skills.
