Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach IGCSE English as a Second Language to students preparing for their exams.
  • Deliver English lessons, focusing on developing advanced language skills and critical thinking.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that are engaging, effective, and aligned with the IGCSE curriculum.
  • Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and exams, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and promotes a love for learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and high-quality educational experience for all students.
  • Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (a Master’s degree is preferred).
  • Teaching certification or qualification recognized in Azerbaijan or internationally.
  • Proven experience teaching IGCSE English as a Second Language 
  • Strong knowledge of the IGCSE curriculum and examination requirements.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • A passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
  • Proficiency in integrating technology into the classroom to enhance learning outcomes.
