Responsibilities:

  • Bachelors degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business, Law
  • Master’s Degree is preferable 
  • RIMS-CRMP, PMI RMP, CRMA certificates (any of them) availability  
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to details
  • Strong analytial and problem-solving skills
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in risk management 

Job duties:

  • Develop and implement risk management strategies, policies, and procedures. 
  • Design and implement control measures to minimize identified risks. 
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure effective risk mitigation and control activities.
  • Stay updated with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to risk management.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. 
  • Provide guidance on risk-related compliance matters to business units and functions. 
  • Design and implement robust risk management process
  • To lead cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks;
  • To review company and projects information to identify potential risks by analyzing data, observing processes, and through communication between interested parties.
  • To assess the potential risks including financial, operational, regulatory compliance, cybersecurity, and others to develop strategies to minimize or eliminate them.

  • Use appropriate risk assessment models or methodologies with alignment to SOCAR governance risk policy and procedures.
  • Evaluate insurance policies and negotiate coverage terms to protect the organization against financial losses from various risks, including property damage, liability claims. Review contracts and agreements to assess potential risks associated with partnerships, vendors, or clients, proposing modifications to mitigate these risks.
  • Prepare detailed reports for senior management, outlining identified risks, mitigation strategies, and the effectiveness of implemented measures. Maintain comprehensive documentation of risk management processes, assessments, and incidents for auditing and reference purposes. 
  • Promote a strong risk management culture within the organization. Communicate risk management policies and procedures to employees and relevant parties within the organization. Provide training and educational programs to staff members, promoting a culture of risk awareness and compliance throughout the organization.
  • Maintaining records of insurance policies and claims
