Main duties and responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the effective implementation of the IB programs and collaborate closely with the Principal, Deputy Head, IB Curriculum Coordinator, and colleagues to develop and implement a relevant, challenging, and balanced curriculum;
  • Design and implement a relevant, challenging, and rigorous curriculum.
  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons, fostering critical thinking skills.
  • Contribute to collaborative learning across all school levels.

Teaching Approach:

  • Create inquiry-based classrooms based on trust and respect.
  • Select relevant resources and digital tools to enhance learning.
  • Develop appropriate assessment tasks, providing timely feedback.

Communication and Reporting:

  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Write formal reports on a timely basis.

Support and Engagement:

  • Attend Parents’ Meetings and PTC sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Music.
  • Recognized teaching qualification. 
  • Minimum two years’ teaching experience in schools.
  • Previous experience with IB preferred; IB training required.
  • Ability to establish professional relationships with students, colleagues, and parents and create strong connections with all members of the school community;
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment;
  • English language proficiency (Minimum B2);

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with various teaching resources and digital tools.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Co-curricular Involvement:
  • Play an active role in the school’s co-curricular program.

CVs will be selected based on the applicant's work experience and compliance with the requirements. Chosen candidates will be invited for an interview. Candidates who have passed the interview will be asked to present a demonstration lesson to show their abilities in modern teaching/learning methods and technologies.
