SOCAR Upstream Management International LLC
SOCAR UPSTREAM MANAGEMENT INTERNATIONAL LLC (SOCAR Upstream) was established pursuant to the Resolution of the President of State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic dated 28 October 2014 №ARDNS/14-1000/01/SM-04-000109. According to this Resolution, in order to improve efficiency and quality of operations under the relevant projects, as well as to avoid duplications and creating centralized reporting system, SOCAR Upstream has been entrusted with operating and managing Shah Deniz and Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli Projects on behalf of SOCAR’s relevant Affiliates participating thereof. SOCAR Upstream performs management and operating of the SOCAR’s relevant Affiliates, particularly - Azerbaijan (ACG) Limited, Azerbaijan (Shah Deniz) Limited and SGC Upstream in the abovementioned projects according to the respective Management Services Agreement and Operator Services Agreement. Due to the necessity of centralizing and optimizing the operations held by SOCAR affiliates namely Salyanneft LLC, AliBayramlinneft LLC and Gobustanneft LLC on onshore petroleum projects, SOCAR has made a further step in establishing a single corporate structure for efficient management of projects and since early 2017 the management and operatorship of these companies has been vested in SOCAR Upstream as well. Except these projects SOCAR Upstream Management LLC has been vested to the projects of KJOC (Karabagh), Umid-Babek, Bahar OC, Binagadi Oil Company LTD, Absheron OC, AzGerNeft LLC, Southwest Gobustan OC, Balakhani-Sabunchu-Ramana- Kurdakhani OC, Surakhani Oil OC S.A., Petro-HongKong Pirsaat Oil LLC and JOCAP (Absheron).
