Job Title:  Technical and Commercial Specialist        

Reports To: Western FSU Sales and Service Manager

Department: Sales & Service            

Location:   Baku Azerbaijan

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

To provide technical and commercial support to assist local sales team in Baku in coordinating administrative tasks while supporting in technical-commercial queries. 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Tracking and developing weekly and monthly work sheet on CSU business activities
2. Spare parts/materials coordination and controlling. Contribution with commercial department
3. Tracking key performance indicators. Monthly feedback from all business units
4. Tracking CSU profile, job status report. Contribute weekly reports from all ME business units
5. Tracking engineering work schedule. Generate weekly progress report
6. Providing quotations, follow up with clients for orders, payments, shipments etc.
7. Tracking and archiving all paperwork related to IN and OUT jobs and orders
8. Tracking and archiving all paperwork related to IN and OUT shipments
9. General correspondence and communication of John Crane Baku LLC with suppliers, customers, agencies and local authorities
10. To deal with Finance/Consulting (providing hard copies of invoices and drop evidences – contracts, human resources etc.) company which JC Baku is outsourcing to comply all requirements as per Azerbaijan legislation
11. Preparing bank statement monthly for JCME finance
12. Process monthly salary, lease etc. payment
13. Handling DGS quote, invoice and shipment
14. Networking and communication with customers, agents and other JC operations
15. Assist Finance in resolving payment issues in case of product discrepancies
16. Use of SAP business system and its relevant modules
17. Work with other departments to expedite the service to customers and keep track for service jobs
18. Prepare notifications for con-compliances
19. To carry out simple translations (quotes, presentations, letters) between Eng-Rus-Azb

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Education/Training: University degree in Engineering Departments (Preferably Mechanical Engineering)

Experience:

- 5+ years of professional experience in engineering environment
- Experience of working in a multinational and multicultural environment
 
Knowledge/Skills:   

- Familiar with commercial terminology
- Good knowledge of drawing, bill of materials and coding
- Technical knowledge of SAP system
- Product knowledge or ability to learn about John Crane product portfolio & product codes.
- Excellent MS Office background
     
Supervises: N/A

Languages:  Excellent knowledge of Azerbaijani, English and Russian languages.
