To ensure its growth, Profex needs a solid marketing strategy and business plan to strengthen relationships with new potential shows while also focusing on lead generation, conversion, and retention for existing shows. Firm results will create a foundation for further business development, including launching Profex's own trade shows and developing additional businesses to support its focus on event management.


Requirements

The ideal candidate must have:

  • Over 10 years of experience in marketing
  • A university degree or equivalent certificates in marketing
  • B2B events marketing experience, preferably in exhibitions and conferences
  • Excellent copywriting and collateral production knowledge
  • Experience in database development and growth, including segmentation and advanced targeting
  • Fluent spoken and written skills in Azerbaijani, Russian, and English languages
  • Online marketing experience
  • Ability to multitask with attention to detail and high accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Thorough understanding of direct marketing initiatives, including mail and email marketing

Responsibilities

The Marketing Manager will:

  • Provide strategic and practical marketing support, including planning, execution of detailed marketing activities, performance measurement, and budget management to ensure cost-effective strategies and responsible resource allocation
  • Build and manage a marketing team composed of internal and/or external specialists in areas such as SMM, SEO, CRM, Graphic Design, and Copywriting
  • Refresh branding and ensure consistent application across all business activities
  • Ensure effective positioning of the company, its products, events, and team through an active online presence, including websites and social media channels, with tailored content for each platform (LinkedIn, Facebook, Telegram, YouTube, X, Instagram, etc.)
  • Contribute to best CRM practices and increase lead generation and direct inquiries per event through the development of capture forms and landing pages linked to CRM
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis
  • Enhance SEO performance and oversee creative content creation
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to drive new product development and event promotion strategies
  • Copywrite all marketing materials, including company and event brochures, reports, articles, and campaigns
  • Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with service suppliers such as media, designers, editors, and influencers

Team Structure and Reporting

The Marketing Manager will report directly to the Managing Director and work closely with the commercial team to prepare and execute effective marketing strategies that support commercial activities and business development.
