JAIN’s roots date back to 1952 when the firm Flanagan & Black was started. This practice later became R.J. Black & Associates which is the firm Dinesh Jain joined in 1975 as a Junior Engineer. He rapidly advanced through various positions in the firm to become Chief Engineer in 1981, Partner in 1984 and President in 1989. In 1994, the firm took a different direction as JAIN, with expansion into India, Middle East and China. Since that time, JAIN has evolved into a multinational firm of engineering consultants based in Toronto with several offices worldwide
